365 Reasons I love you too...

Here it is, all 365 reasons. Although I didn't keep with my original intentions of taking a picture of each reason, I think this covers it, right? They're all there! I regret not having the dedication to do what I originally wanted to do, I sincerely hope my wife treasures this forever. I love my wife. Everything about her is everything I need.

I love you, Christie. Two down, more to go.

Jonathan

Reason 350, 187, 238, 292, 321, 232

Reason 350...

The way you do anything for our daughter.

I would spin the world backwards for my daughter. She deserves everything in the world. She's got some things going against her and I will do anything she needs me to do to keep the balance in her favor. I love my wife for bringing her into my life. She's changed everything about it.

Reason 187...

I love that you always speak your mind.

I can't help it. My filter is like a sieve. I think Honest Jon is the problem really. That guy's a dick. I love that my wife even takes me out of the house.

Reason 238...

You treat me awesome.

A repeat. I do what I can. I don't always treat my wife awesome but I try. Even though I don't always treat her awesome, she still loves me. I couldn't ask for a better wife.

Reason 292...

You never yell.

I don't yell all that often. I also don't often keep a grudge after we argue. I think it's because we never argue about things that are really a big deal, or at least in the grand scheme of things they're not that big of a deal. I also never really heard my Mom and Dad yell very much. I guess when you love someone so much, yelling isn't really in the cards.

Reason 321...

You're the one person I don't regret meeting.

Ditto! As a matter of fact, my wife is the one person above all I am happy to have met. She's changed everything about my life and made me happier than I could have imagined.

Reason 232...

When we kiss, it's perfect.

I agree. Let's do it more often this year!

Reason 295, 215, 319, 176, 306, 318

Reason 295...

You explain things to me.

Although she doesn't always need things explained, when she does I do my best to explain them to my wife. She's a pretty smart cookie. The things I do have to explain are usually car, motorcycle, math or science related. And frankly, she usually doesn't care! I still love her though, she listens long enough to entertain me.

Reason 215...

The way you take pride in how you look.

I like to look somewhat presentable. Not metrosexual or anything, but good enough. I'm not overly attractive either, so I love that my wife appreciates that I take a little time to look good. After all, I do it for her!

Reason 319...

You are so smart.

Eh, I know a lot of people smarter than I am. In fact, my wife is pretty smart. I love that my wife thinks that being smart is a good thing. It goes further than me though. Being proud of smartness will instill in our children a feeling that being a nerd or dork is a good thing. Not a bad thing.

Reason 176...

I love cooking for you.

My wife should be on Master Chef! That's what our daughter always says. I think she's right. I love eating the food my wife cooks and I appreciate that she takes the time to do it.

Reason 306...

You're a great father.

I think this has been covered. I try to emulate the man that was a father to me and my grandfathers. I have no reason not to be a good father. Especially when I have such a damn good family. I wouldn't trade this life for anything. No amount of money...nothing. I love my wife for being such a huge part of why I'm a good father.

Reason 318...

You worked for NASA.

That I did. It was the best experience in my life. I love my wife for moving to Houston to be with me during that time.

Reason 225, 200, 190, 194, 182, 236

Reason 225...

For making me feel like a Queen.

I love my wife for calling me Pharaoh.

Reason 200...

I love how you always do the right thing.

Repeat. And I definitely don't always do the right thing. But I try. My wife deserves that. I love that she thinks I always try to do the right thing! She's so innocent.

Reason 190...

How you make me feel I can do anything.

Part of the whole marriage thing is lifting up your spouse. Inspiring your other half to do their best is crucial for a healthy relationship. So that's what I try to do. I love my wife for inspiring me too, cause she does it every day. (This is a repeat btw, lol).

Reason 194...

I am always proud of you.

This drives me to always do the right thing. Without my wife's belief in me, life would be much harder. I love my wife for being my cheerleader.

Reason 182...

I love making you happy.

Oh reeeeaaally? My wife does a pretty good job at this. I try to make her happy too. I think this year for our anniversary I made her pretty happy with my first gift. I hope this makes her happier!

Reason 236...

For trusting me.

I try to trust my wife as much as my brain will allow it. Sometimes I just need to do things myself to make me feel better about it, haha. But really, I do trust my wife with a lot. She does just about everything for us. I think this year I'll trust her even more with things. She can do it!

Reason 302, 214, 265, 213, 201

Reason 302...

We share everything.

We do. Except for food, usually. I think my wife growls at me sometimes actually!

Reason 214...

Your devotion.

I think this was covered before. I'm devoted to my family. That's about it. I love that my wife respects that and is in line with it too.

Reason 265...

When you grab my butt.

I like my wife's ass. And I like grabbing it. I think, after I'm done with this post, I'll do just that!

Reason 213...

You became a lactation specialist to help me and our son.

I sure did! Our little tiny man didn't latch on right away. So, I did what any good dad would do, I helped! He eventually did latch and is STILL breastfeeding, a year later. My wife needed help, so I helped. I love that my wife accepted my help so graciously. It was an experience I'll never forget.

Reason 201...

I love waking up next to you.

Ha! I think my wife loves waking up to the baby more than me. She co-sleeps with the baby and still does about half of the week. I'm OK with it because I believe it has helped her and the baby during breastfeeding. Really though, I love sleeping in the same bed as my wife. I'm gonna kick that baby out!

Reason 208, 309, 294, 217, 308, 250

Reason 208...

I love that my life finally has purpose.

My wife's life had purpose before our family. She had her daughter, and that's purpose enough. Our life together must have given her that little extra kick, a little extra purpose. Now that we have a son, it's just doubled. As long as we have love, our purpose will always be intertwined. As far as I'm concerned our purposes will always be intertwined.

Reason 309...

The way you pick on me.

I always do it out of love. I had a math teacher in high school that always used to say "I kid cause I care". I guess I do the same. I'm thankful that my wife doesn't get pissed cause I pick on her!

Reason 294...

You call me from work to check in.

I probably do this too often. I know sometimes my wife doesn't want to pick up as I usually have "instructions" for her! I love that she picks the phone up!

Reason 217...

The way you have taught me about life and myself.

I think getting my wife out of the place she was in was the only thing she needed to learn about herself and life. Sometimes environments hold people down. I am just happy that she's grown. Bringing her and our daughter in my life has done way more for me than she could imagine.

Reason 308...

You sometimes drive me insane.

I think we've covered this. I sometimes wonder how she stands me. I'm just thankful that she does!

Reason 250...

You gave everything to me.

She deserves everything she's gotten. That could be taken two ways I guess, haha. But seriously, I've only ever given her love. And sometimes strife. But we all need that in our life. My wife has given me children. She's on the winning side of things.

Reason 198, 212, 206, 299, 329, 362

Reason 198...

I love that my life feels like a dream.

I don't know about that. If it's more like Cinderella in the beginning than the end, I could see it being like a dream! I try to keep my wife comfortable most times but I know things get hard. I should do more to help her and I'll try in the next year.

Reason 212...

You are my happily ever after.

See above! LOL

Reason 206...

The importance of our family.

As covered before, our family is the number one priority in our lives. I wouldn't have it any other way. It's what I learned as a child and it's what I teach my children today. I love that my wife is in it for the long haul with me.

Reason 299...

You know how to cheer me up.

Frequently, my wife needs a little cheering up. I usually just tell her to get over it if it's not a big thing to be worrying about, but every once in a while she needs more than that. And I try to help her in any way I can. As is standard, she does the same for me. I love her reciprocation.

Reason 329...

Thinking about you makes me stop doing something stupid.

As I said before, my wife is not stupid. Perhaps she means that she thinks through a situation before acting, which is something I try to tell her often. Not everyone thinks like and engineer, and I do so probably too much for a normal person. So I try to rub that off onto her. I love that she's listening and it's flattering to think that she thinks of me.

Reason 362...

The day we had our son.

A day I will never, ever, ever forget. It was the single greatest moment I've ever experienced. I thought I loved my wife and respected her before, but at that moment I couldn't even explain the love I had for her. She amazed me and continues to do so every day.

Reason 352, 360, 181, 303, 274, 314

Reason 352...

You don't mind my stretch marks.

Who am I to question the love that resides inherent in my wife's stretch marks. They are symbols of the children she carried for nine months within her. I don't just not mind them, I love them. They are the reminders of the children I care for more than anything in the world. I love my wife for having the strength to carry the loves of my life.

Reason 360...

When you take photos with me.

I'm not photogenic. I think my wife is. We don't often take pictures together as we're usually paying attention to the kids or taking pictures of them. We also have a kind of unspoken policy of living in the moment. Too often everyone is living their life behind the lens on their smart phone. I promise though, to take more pictures with my wife, especially because she likes them.

Reason 181...

I love debating with you.

My wife and I often debate various different things. From environment to politics, we like to argue. I will say this though, I usually get her to think about things in a different way than she is used to. Interestingly enough, we are usually in line with each other. Politically and morally. I love that about my wife. I found someone in her that I can agree with. That's not an easy thing for me.

Reason 303...

You're perfect to me.

Nothing could be further from reality. I love that my wife is unrealistic!

Reason 274...

How you show me you love me.

Doing what is in the best interest of the other person above your own is the best definition of love I've seen. I try to live by that for my wife. She deserves my very best. And I'm glad she recognizes it.

Reason 314...

The way you say my name.

Whether I do it for the annoyance factor or not, I guess my wife likes it. We've covered this in another reason. I actually like her name quite a bit. And coupled with her middle name it kind of sounds like a stripper name. I like that!

Reason 304, 346, 339, 175, 186, 291

Reason 304...

Always on my side.

I think this one was already covered. But just to reiterate, I will always have my wife's back. No matter what. She's my partner forever and I couldn't ask for a better one than her.

Reason 346...

How we constantly talked on Gmail...

I was fortunately allowed to use the internet frequently at my job when we first re-met. We would talk all the time on the internet. Probably not the best for business, but it brought us closer together in the long run, so it was worth it. I'm so thankful that I don't have to do that anymore. I have my love by my side now.

Reason 339...

Your PDA.

I don't have a problem kissing my wife in public. We don't make out, but it's no secret that I love her. And I don't have a problem with that. Thankfully, my wife doesn't either, even though it does embarrass her at times.  I'm ok with that though!

Reason 175...

I love your self confidence.

I'm not a braggart or a cocky person, but I am confident. I think it is a good trait to have, especially for self esteem. I hope that my confidence rubs off on my wife. Because she has every reason to be as confident as I am. And I love her because of that.

Reason 186...

Knowing I will always have butterflies.

I still give my wife butterflies, as a previous reason stated. Apparently I'll always give her butterflies. I think that's incredibly cute.

Reason 291...

You have a soothing voice.

Not very deep, not high pitched. I can get my son asleep by singing to him fairly quickly. I guess after hearing my voice for a year over the phone, it was endeared to my wife. I don't know much else to say about it. I don't think there's much special about it. But I love that my wife likes it.

Reason 180, 290, 328

Reason 180...

Your hate for tattoos but you are still covered in them.

I won't go on and on about this. I'm not a big fan of tattoos anymore. I have very many of them, mostly unfinished in my eyes. I think my wife thinks they're hot, which is a damn good thing!

Reason 290...

You are good hearted.

This is about the third time this has appeared, haha. Kind, gentle souled...however you want to say it. I love that my wife thinks this about me.

Reason 328...

You accepted my baggage.

I did. And although most of it I want to throw away, the one item that I cherish above all is our daughter. She is my little gem. And she inspires me every day. I think she's the coolest girl I've ever met and I owe everything to my wife for bringing her into my life.

Reason 178, 341, 288, 334, 262, 332

Reason 178...

The way you dance.

Growing up I always liked to dance. I'm not a bad dancer either! I wish my wife would dance more for me and with me. This year I'll make it an issue!

Reason 341...

Your values.

This is a direct repeat. 363 now!

Reason 288...

Your love of sweets.

I do love sweets. I get it from my parents. I eat way too many of them, way too many. But apparently my wife likes that. It makes me fat. Not sure why she loves that about me! I'm sweet on her though, that's for sure.

Reason 334...

You've helped me feel girly.

Because of her environment and self-esteem my wife was never really girly. I suppose I did help her to get out of her shell. I very much like it when my wife is girly. I think I'll keep this up.

Reason 262...

Your relationship with your brothers.

My brothers and I have a very good relationship. They are truly my best friends. We never fought when we were younger. My eldest brother is ten years older than me and my second eldest brother is six years older than me so perhaps that helped. Through out the years I have stayed very close to them and can always count on them for a laugh and will always be there when they need me. I know if anything happens to me, my brothers will be right there. I hope my wife truly understands that and it brings her some form of comfort that no matter what, she'll always have help. That actually may scare her too, lol!

Reason 332...

You've helped me find the balance in life.

And she's balanced mine. Her and our daughter have centered my life time and time again. I can't thank them enough.

Reason 363, 202, 338, 364, 298, 177

Reason 363...

The future children we should have.

We've talked about this before but it is worth noting that we don't exactly agree on how many children we should have. My wife wants to have 4 children with me. We already have our daughter (my step daughter) and our son. So she wants three more. I only want two more. We'll figure it out. She usually gets what she wants.

Reason 202...

I love knowing that this is how the rest of our lives will be.

Things will change in the future, but our marriage will be a constant. So will our love for our children and our togetherness as a family. I love knowing that too.

Reason 338...

Our vacations.

Don't come here.

Reason 364...

The rain didn't ruin our wedding.

There was a light drizzle during our wedding. It was enough to spoil the pictures we wanted to get in a park close to our reception. But my wife is correct. It didn't ruin our wedding. Nothing could have.

Reason 298...

When you shave your mustache.

I don't know about this one. My daughter certainly doesn't like it! Maybe I'll shave for our anniversary. Not my beard...but my mustache.

Reason 177...

I love watching our shows together.

Although we don't get to do it as often as we'd like, we do watch a few shows strictly (usually) together. One gets an earful if we break that pact. I love watching them together too. It's just another thing we share as a couple...another thing we can bond over.

Reason 312, 227, 211, 301, 322, 203

Reason 312...

I promise you.

I promise you too. Love forever. And sex.

Reason 227...

I cry, laugh, become obnoxious in front of you without guilt or shame.

As husband and wife, you should be able to completely be yourself in front of the other without any hesitations. We do that. And I love that our relationship is deep enough for that to be possible.

Reason 211...

Your laugh brightens my day.

We've talked about laughs before. I love my wife's laugh and she obviously loves mine. So I promise to fill this marriage with laughter for the rest of our lives.

Reason 301...

You know my dislikes.

I know almost everything about my wife. Her dislikes are just a little bit of it all. I think this speaks to a bigger picture though. To truly love someone and understand them you need to know everything about them. I'd like to think we're there. And we'll continue to learn about each other for a very long time.

Reason 322...

The first time you came to my apartment.

The first time I saw my then girlfriend in the flesh was the first time I had seen her in over 10 years. She came to the door in a vintage gray or silver dress, all dolled up, and we kissed on the spot. I'll always remember it. I think we had sex that night too.

Reason 203...

I love your parents.

And they love you and the girl too. From the start they were a little apprehensive about our relationship. But now...I think they like her more than me. My wife is kind of like the daughter my mom never had. They talk about way too much too. I love the relationship my wife has with my parents. It makes much of our own relationship effortless.

Reason 327, 210, 185, 311, 218, 345

Reason 327...

The fact you put up with all the craziness in my life.

We've gone over this enough so far. I go through the craziness because my wife is my best friend and partner. I'd go through anything for her.

Reason 210...

You're irreplaceable.

Not sure what to say about this one. My wife is irreplaceable too. We're both part of this marriage and without the other there is nothing. We'll be at this a long time. Together.

Reason 185...

I love listening to you speak.

Fib. Sometimes my wife tells me to just shut up. Sometimes I say it too! I have a tendency to nag on and on about something until it makes my wife mad. It's not very flattering. But sometimes I just can't help myself. I love that even after that, my wife still loves me. And will go so far as to say she loves listening to me speak!

Reason 311...

You trust me enough to cry in front of me.

I've only done it a few times. Most of the time I hide it anytime I cry about something (usually Military homecomings or dog videos, HA). But it's true, I do trust her enough to cry in front of her. I trust her with everything in my life.

Reason 218...

Just being with you makes me feel I can defy the world.

This is similar to a few other reasons. The inspiration I give my wife I hope I can do for the rest of our lives. Anytime she needs a push, I'll be there for her. And every time I need one, I know she's there too. It is the definition of a strong marriage.

Reason 345...

How you came to see me less than a month after dating...even though it was for the Buell.

I bought a 2008 Buell 1125r in the fire sale after Buell was shut down by Harley. It went on sale right around the time My wife and I started dating. It was the perfect alignment of stars. I wanted to see her. And I wanted to buy a motorcycle. How could it get any better!?

Reason 197, 361, 325, 93, 296, 320

Reason 197...

I'm your biggest fan.

This is a direct copy of another reason! 364 reasons I love you! LOL

Reason 361...

The day we got married.

A day I will never forget. It was filled with so much joy that I thought it couldn't get any better. And then we went on our honeymoon. And then you got pregnant. And then you had our son. And then...you got pregnant again. It only keeps getting better.

Reason 325...

When you cook dinner.

I don't do this very often. I get home from work later than I'd like and the dinner falls to my wife. Which is a good thing for our family, because she rivals my mom in cooking prowess (and surpasses too!) She's freaking awesome. I can cook too but not like her. I want to make it a point though to cook more for her because it obviously relieves some of her burden.

Reason 93...

You are always by my side.

I want my wife to truly feel this. I want her to know that no matter what, no matter where I am, I am always with her. I hope this year I can make that even more clearer to her.

Reason 296...

You always have time for us.

Although I may not always have time, I try to make what I can for my family. I'm not so busy that I can't be there for just about everything they need me to be. Sure, I sacrifice time out in the garage, on the motorcycle, playing video games...but that's not what is important to me. My family, my wife...those are the important things. My wife makes spending time with my family easy. And I love her for that.

Reason 320...

You care about my health.

I sure do. I want my wife to spend many healthy years with me in the future, so her health is of the utmost importance to me. We don't always put it first, but I hope in our third year together in marriage, we can put it to the front of our minds not only for ourselves but for our children.

Reason 267, 343, 231, 349, 228, 354

Reason 267...

Your love of animals.

Sometimes I feel like St. Francis at our home. I take care of the dogs outside, I feed the fish and the birds and don't shoot at the squirrels or the groundhogs (most of the time). I don't like the circus, the zoo, horse racing or dog racing. The funny thing is that I'm not a hippy liberal vegan. I'm very much conservative but I don't hunt and I don't fish either (though I would). Like all people, I think animals deserve our respect. I don't go overboard with it, but I do want my children to know that and respect it. I love that my wife generally feels the same way as I do. She is kind-hearted and even though she may get angry at the dogs (understandably) she still loves them and all the other animals we take care of.

Reason 343...

How you spoon me on the couch.

CPC! I love this too. It's my favorite time to spend with my wife. I promise to do more of this in our second year of marriage.

Reason 231...

You share things with me.

Except for my food! Just kidding. I share everything I have with my wife. But the best thing I can share truly is my love of her. I hope she genuinely knows and feels how much I love her. And that I always will.

Reason 349...

You're ok with me buying stuff.

This one is comical. My wife doesn't usually buy much of anything other than groceries and stuff for the house or kids. I wish she could buy more things for herself. I love my wife's selfless nature with our kids and family. Sure she may not clean all the time or do the dishes and laundry, but she sacrifices herself for this family. It is the ultimate show of love for us all and we should all do more to thank her for it.

Reason 228...

I am happy with you.

I know this has been covered. I'd like to add that I know it's not always true. I'm not easy to love or be with. I hope that I make my wife a little happier every day and in this third year of marriage I want to make the conscious decision to do it regularly.

Reason 354...

Your pearl snaps.

My only fashion statement is pearl snaps. My wife gave me a pearl snap shirt for this anniversary (she couldn't wait to give me my present). Unfortunately I couldn't fit in it. I promise to her that by our next anniversary that I will fit into that shirt.

Reason 216, 353, 323, 335, 73, 244

Reason 216...

The way you hold me.

We don't get to spend as much time "together" as we used to. Kids, chores, dogs, life...it all gets in the way. I want to make a promise to my wife that at least once a week we'll spend time in CPC on the couch. We both need it.

Reason 353...

Your not a people person.

This is another fib. My wife wishes I was more "social." I'm not. Probably never will be. I am too much like my Dad in that way. I don't necessarily think it's a good thing, but it could be worse. I love that my wife wants to be a people person. But she isn't either. But I'll tell you what. When we go somewhere together, for whatever reason, we're the focus. Who knows why. But I love that about us.

Reason 323...

How you tease me about Carrick.

My wife is from Overbrook and went to Carrick high school. It's not a ghetto, but it's part of the city. People from Carrick are known to be a little...rough around the edges. I'm from Baldwin, not to far from Carrick, but definitely not in the city. I grew up knowing Carrick as a rough around the edges place so I usually tease my wife about it. All in good fun....but it's pretty true. I love exactly who she is and that's why I tease her about it.

Reason 335...

I'm more romantic because of you.

Building on the above reason, I don't think my wife was treated the most romantic being from Carrick. I'm not that romantic either to be honest, but my wife deserves to be treated romantically so I try as hard as I can. As different as we are, we're very much the same in many ways. I think we're both more romantic because of each other. Our love has changed us both for the good and it continues to this day.

Reason 73...

Your goals.

Relationship goals! I see these stupid memes from time to time with a couple doing something cute or fun with a caption of relationship goals. It's all millennial bullshit. Real goals are putting food on the table, raising good kids and loving forever. Putting someone's best interest above yours is the ultimate reflection of your love for them. My main goal is to love my family as honestly and fiercely as I can. I love that my wife sees that in my and agrees with it. She was my goal when we first started dating.

Reason 244...

You make my day better.

Repeat. This must have been hard!

Reason 347, 313, 195, 336, 188, 205

Reason 347...

You work hard for what you want.

I work hard for my family. That's about the only inspiration I need. I hope that my work ethic and love of family is shown to my children so that they may live the same way. My wife only makes things easier. And I love her for that support.

Reason 313...

Your Bravery...

I like to think I'm pretty brave. And up until I saw my wife in labor I thought I was the braver one. Boy was I wrong. I have never felt greater admiration for another human being like I did seeing her give birth to my son. I will never, ever forget it and I love her for showing me what true bravery is.

Reason 195...

You're always my biggest fan.

I'm not sure if this is a play on words. Our daughter regularly says that Katie Perry, Taylor Swift or some other fashionable singer is her "biggest fan". We know what she means. I'm not sure about this reason. Either way, if it's literal she's correct. I am her biggest fan. And if it's as our daughter says, I love it even more.

Reason 336...

I cherish everyday with you.

Ditto. And to think we have about 60 more years worth makes me a happy man.

Reason 188...

Our experiences in Houston together.

This has been covered before. I think I'd like to add that without my wife's courage none of what we have today would be here. I couldn't be happier.

Reason 205...

You know that I can't keep anything from you.

Not just me, but any in our family. My wife is a terrible liar. When she found out she was pregnant she HAD to tell my parents the same day. She said she couldn't face them and not tell them. I love her honesty in our relationship.

Reason 270, 189, 356, 348, 359, 326

Reason 270...

Your strong hands.

I have callused hands. As an engineer, it's commonplace to have little girl hands, but I like to build with mine. There are scars all over them with ashy knuckles. I don't know exactly why my wife likes my "strong" hands. Maybe it's because I fix things. I love that my wife likes the "manly" things about me. So often are men trivialized in today's society. It's not "cool" to be manly anymore. But I'm lucky that my wife likes "manly".

Reason 189...

How you always seem to make my day.

I don't feel like I always make her day. But if that's what she likes, then maybe I should try harder each day to do something special for my wife. She deserves it.

Reason 356...

You make fun of my sayings.

My wife, like any good hunky woman, has a lot of sayings that aren't quite right. She usually gets the premise correct, but sometimes messes up the wording. Sometimes these sayings become the NEW sayings. I love that my wife makes me laugh. And I'm laughing WITH her, not at her.

Reason 348...

You stand up for what is right.

Right is usually shaded in perspective. I try my hardest to do what is objectively right, from the moral compass that was instilled in me by my parents. I hope that this moral compass rubs off on my children and I hope that my wife continues to love that I have one.

Reason 359...

When you use words our daughter used to use.

Our daughter was basically non-verbal until she was about 4. In the time she was learning to speak she used many different words for everyday things or occurrences. "Storm" for store, "doo a day" for "good day" and many others. I still use them from time to time as it reminds me of how far she has come in such a short time. It keeps me centered on the important things in life. My family...my wife.

Reason 326...

You still loved me after I wrecked the Mazda 3.

I had my wife drive our awesome Mazda 3 up to the city of Houston to drop off a good friend of mine. Turns out that was a bad idea. She accidentally ran a red light and hit a BMW and totaled the Mazda. She was fine, my buddy had a sprained neck. But she was so upset and worried that I'd be super pissed at her that she basically went into a panicked shock and had to be taken to the hospital in an ambulance. To think she had any doubt that I'd break up with her or anything like that makes me sad. I love my wife (then girlfriend) and her health is the only thing that mattered to me. I love that she was so worried because it strengthened my love for her. But I still miss the 3.

Reason 316, 56, 261, 281, 279, 355

Reason 316...

Your love of history.

I suppose I like history. I like learning more than anything. As corny as it sounds, my favorite history is the one I have with my wife.

Reason 56...

You are my best friend.

I've had "best" friends all my life. The kind you can call and depend on. And there isn't one of them as dependable as my wife. She truly is my best friend and always will be for the rest of my life. I can't be happier with her as my number one.

Reason 261...

Your sincerity.

I think my wife was pulling "nice things" out of a hat at this point. I guess I'm sincere though. More honest than anything else. My wife likes to tell white lies all the time. She even pretended to be asleep last night after I was done writing my reasons out. She cracks me up. I haven't been Honest Jon in a while. So maybe in honor of this reason he'll climb in bed with her tonight. Oh wait...there's a baby in my spot!

Reason 281...

Your patience.

I think this is a repeat. And if it's not, it's basically false. I have very little patience. Especially with math homework. I need to work on my understanding. Perhaps this reason can be a catalyst for me to change some patience related things about myself. I don't even have anything nice to say about my wife regarding patience because she's impatient too. We can work on it together.

Reason 279...

The chores you do around the house.

We've covered this before. It's part of my job. I love that my wife appreciates what I do instead of just taking it for granted.

Reason 355...

Your collection of shoes.

Ever since my wife and daughter moved in my shoe collection has dwindled. I gave it up for them. But when we first started dating, look out! I had around 20 pairs of good shoes. I'm not sure why she likes this about me, but maybe I can leverage it into buying more shoes!

Reason 242, 245, 192, 260, 282, 199

Reason 242...

You make me feel wanted.

My wife deserves to feel wanted. Growing up, she didn't get a lot of that. So, I make it a point to make sure she knows she's wanted, loved and appreciated. I love that my wife has opened up so much to me so that I can truly make her feel wanted and have her truly believe it.

Reason 245...

You mean the world to me.

Generic. I don't really understand this saying, to be honest. What's the world mean to my wife? Maybe this can be a followup reason?

Reason 192...

I love that I am "Mrs. Yimin."

I love this too. I can't imagine a better woman to have my name!

Reason 260...

Your simplicity.

Hey! That's not nice. But it's true, I'm pretty simple. I don't want much. All I need is my family. And my wife has made that possible. And I love her for it.

Reason 282...

Your wit.

I thought this said "wet" at first. I pride myself on my wit I guess. Sometimes I can't control myself. Sometimes it's "mean" too. I love my wife for understand that sometimes I just can't help myself. Most of the time she laughs along with me. Which is pretty damn amazing.

Reason 199...

I love Christmas mornings with you.

I try my hardest to make Christmas morning as close to my childhood as possible. Christmas was awesome. Even though my parents didn't have much, we always had tons of presents. Times have changed, but I try to make Christmas just like that, even though our Daughter doesn't really want much.

Reason 247, 54, 207, 92, 258, 251

Reason 247...

You took me places I've never been to.

I guess this has already been covered. And again, I wouldn't want to do it with anyone else!

Reason 54...

How protective you are.

It's only natural for me to be protective of my family. I learned it from my dad and grandfathers. I find that it's just one of the things a husband and father does. I love that my wife is confident enough for me to be so protective of her.

Reason 207...

Your being ok with my cheap anniversary gift.  lol

Or one that doesn't fit. lol. In all reality, this gift, the 365 reasons is the best thing I've evr been given. It blew me away.

Reason 92...

The way you kiss and caress my leg while doing it.

I must not know that I'm doing it, cause I'm not entirely sure what she's talking about. But hey, maybe I'll do it later!

Reason 258...

Your manly eyebrows.

If you love them so much, stop trying to get me to pluck them. I love that our son has my eyebrow!

Reason 251...

Our love story is beautiful.

I think it's pretty beautiful too, in a 2010 kind of way. It is pretty romantic, come to think of it. I love that it's all ours. How many people can realistically can say they married someone from 3rd grade, 10 years after the last time you saw them!

Reason 232, 310, 193, 337, 132, 220

Reason 232...

Although we may not agree the way you discipline our kids.

I think there may be a missing comma in there somewhere. I'm not sure I understand this one. I'm tough, but I still give in a lot to the kids. Especially the girl. My wife likes to keep her punishments, but usually doesn't either. It's tough being parents, but agree or not, I'd rather not do it with anyone else.

Reason 310...

This has been the best 5 years of my life.

I'd have to say I agree. We re-met, we moved in, we moved, we got married, went on an awesome honeymoon I'll never forget and had an amazing little boy. Incredible!

Reason 193...

I love how you make me blush.

I love that my wife still blushes at me. I think it's incredibly cute. She's still that little girl in grade school sometimes when she's with me. Thank goodness we found each other.

Reason 337...

Even if you are driving me insane, I wouldn't change this.

I think we do pretty good together. Arguing or not, we always seem to get to the core of the matter and work through it. I think it works for us. I love my wife for having patience enough to work through the annoyance and make it a positive!

Reason 132...

How I've had the time of my life and I owe it all to you - yeah baby!!

I certainly don't think it is all owed to me. WE make the most of our relationship. It is the WE that drives our lives forward. WE have fun. WE love each other. I'm having the time of my life too.

Reason 220...

How you keep your cool when I do something stupid.

"Stupid" things allows us to learn from them. I don't think my wife does stupid things. I think she learns continuously. I learn just as much as she does but it seems to stick with her. That's why I love her. She adapts. I have trouble doing that.

Monday, October 5, 2015

Reason 31, 233, 234

Reason 31...

You make me laugh.

Repeat. I love laughing with my wife and kids. I can't think of anything I'd rather be doing than wrestling with my family laughing as hard as we can.

Reason 233...

Our crying at the end of Derek Season 1.

Our daughter has Autism. I take it easier than my wife. If you've ever seen Derek, you'd understand this reason. This show paints a picture of someone who is not neuro-typical doing so many amazing things and changing lives along the way. I know my daughter does the same. And we owe a lot of it to her mother.

Reason 234...

Your strong arms.

I don't know what to really say about this one. Thanks? I love that my wife isn't repulsed by me. LOL

Reason 226, 204, 219, 114, 191, 52

Reason 226...

You are my better half.

Ditto! She's wrong about this one...she's definitely MY better half.

Reason 204...

That you take me out of my comfort zone.

It is important to take risks in life. From changing your everyday routine to really risking life. I taught my wife how to drive at age 27 I think. It was definitely out of her comfort zone. I love her for not packing up her things and going back to Pittsburgh when I wouldn't let up on her about driving.

Reason 219...

You're good at fixing things.

I think fixing things is part of being a man, in my opinion. Not in the macho way, although that helps, but because by fixing things you're taking care of your family. Mending the broken makes me happy. From cars and motorcycles to stuff around the house. I love that my wife appreciates what I do enough to write it down as a reason. I'd fix the whole world for my wife.

Reason 114...

Your touch.

Intimacy is a fairly important part of our relationship. And with that comes touching. I like touching my wife. Especially grabbing her ass. And I know she likes it!

Reason 191...

I love that you believe in us!

Why wouldn't I. We're the best. And we're going to be together forever! Only makes sense. In 6 short years, two of marriage, we've already been through quite a lot. And not one bit of it has shaken us. I believe in us because we're awesome!

Reason 52...

How you understand my problems.

I only try to understand my wife's problems. I grew up very different from her so at times it's difficult to understand what she goes through. I try my hardest because I know she'd do the same for me. At times her problems really don't make sense because of how much I love her. It's difficult for me to imagine someone treating her badly. I will always make an attempt though. And I love that she lets me in without pushing me away.

Reason 183, 317, 47, 307, 237, 179

Reason 183...

I love our weekends together.

We usually spend our weekends getting stuff done. But every once in a while, and I wish it was more often, we get to go to our family cabin. It's a way for us both to recharge our batteries, even though we're usually busy. I'd rather be no where else in the world than with my wife on a weekend. I love her for taking the journeys with me.

Reason 317...

Your love of Space.

I spent my first five years out of college as a Flight Controller for the International Space Station. It was the greatest experience of my life, second to my marriage and children. I hope my experiences sift down to our children. I recently took my wife to a secluded dark spot up at the cabin to show her the Milky Way, something she's never seen before. And although she was afraid of how dark it was, it was something I hope she never forgets. I love that she will share in these moments with me for the rest of her life.

Reason 47...

You will make me smile if I am angry.

This is a repeat. Waugh waugh. It's very easy for me to do this though. Thank goodness!

Reason 307...

You keep me sane.

As much as I drive my wife insane, I'm glad to hear that I also keep her sane. Really though, I think we keep each other sane. The way we work as a team is what keeps us together. I love that my wife relies on me for this kind of mental support. I wouldn't trust her with anyone else.

Reason 237...

Knowing you're mine forever.

This reason is played on many times. It just goes to show you that our future is very much in her mind. As it is mine.

Reason 179...

I love that you are musically gifted.

I'm hardly musically inclined, but as I mentioned before, I like to sing. I love that my wife sees this as a good thing, and not an annoying thing!

Reason 71, 297, 357, 340, 259, 65

Reason 71...

Our Grandchildren (one day)

This is looking really far into the future. I hope we have grandchildren one day. I'll be another Pappy and my wife will be a Grammy. I'm sure we'll have a cabin too! I love that my wife thinks this far into our future. It makes me realize just how much I am in love with her because I think about it too.

Reason 297...

I love all the places we want to travel to.

Although we'll most likely have to wait until we're older, we have plans to go to many places. They're not set in stone but we've talked about visiting many different parts of this country and even a few others. I love that my wife likes to travel. Even if it's an hour outside our home to the cabin, I wouldn't want to be with anyone else.

Reason 357...

You make fun of my 80 year old woman ways.

One of the keys to a healthy relationship is fun teasing. I'm positive of it. If we can't make fun of ourselves in a good way, then life is just too serious. I love that my wife has an 80 year old woman living inside of her at times. I love that she makes fun of my grump ass when I need put in my place.

Reason 340...

Everyone notices our love for each other.

Love is how you act, not what you say. I think my wife and I live by this. Sure we say "I love you" quite a bit, but in just a glance I know my wife loves me. I love my wife for being connected to me on a level that makes it so easy to love her.

Reason 259...

The laughs or jokes I'm going to get with you reading these.

I hope my wife thinks I stopped doing this. That will be the final joke. I think these reasons are amazing and I love my wife for spending time doing them.

Reason 65...

Future children.

I think I've seen a reason like this already. As I write this though, my sleeping wife is upstairs nurturing another child growing inside of her. It is a miracle from God. I can't even express how happy I am to be having future children NOW.

Friday, October 2, 2015

Reason 351, 85, 284, 63, 330, 315

Reason 351...

You let me sleep in.

Usually every Saturday I let my wife sleep in. I clean the kitchen, pick up around the house, make the girl some breakfast and take the boy when he wakes up. Although I work all week and never ever get to sleep in, like ever. I let her do it. Even when she gets to take naps during the day and I don't. LOL. Really though, she deserves it. She keeps the kids alive.

Reason 85...

You passion.

Passion. Passionate. Same thing. Repeat. I'm nearing the end of these, 9 more days, so it's only natural that I get more and more repeats. I love it when my wife lets me be passionate on her.

Reason 284...

Your determination.

I am determined to finish what I started. I once sucked brake fluid out of a caliper to bleed the brakes on my Dad's car...it needed done and there was no other way around it. He remarked the same thing to me. Said he was always amazed about how determined I was. I am so lucky I was determined enough to ask my wife to marry her. It was the best decision I've ever made.

Reason 63...

Our son.

Man is he awesome. I don't even fully understand the amount of love I have for him. It doesn't even make sense. He's the coolest thing I've ever seen. And I owe it to my wife. Our love created him. And he makes me love my wife even more every day.

Reason 330...

Sometimes I read our emails and laugh.

Our initial contact was mostly done over the internet. So Facebook messages, chats and emails. I admit, every once in a while I stumble upon one and laugh too. Hell, we were young(er) then and trying to impress each other. If only we knew...

Reason 315...

Your strength.

Like physical? Mental? Whatever it is, I'm not nearly as strong as she thinks I am. I still cry over my Pap Pap Dick whenever I think about him for too long. Same with my Uncle Miron. And military homecoming videos are like kryptonite. Who knows what it is exactly, but my strength comes almost exclusively from my family. I love her for being unwavering in her support. Without her I'd be floating aimlessly.

Reason 235, 229, 305, 324, 365, 266

Reason 235...

The way you still carry our daughter to bed.

She ain't heavy father, she's m'daughter. I'll carry my daughter for the rest of her life if I have to. I love my wife for bringing her into my life. She's changed me in ways I never thought possible and I love her to the end of the world and back.

Reason 229...

How you are compassionate.

Compassionate = kind. And I think this is a repeat. I can't blame her though, I don't know how the heck she did this in the first place. I love that my wife wrote out 365 reasons she loves me, even if she could only think of like 50!

Reason 305...

Cuddles on the couch.

Although we don't do it enough, spooning on the couch has got to be the best thing ever. I love my wife for her good CPC.

Reason 324...

I knew I loved you 9 days after talking.

This isn't a lie. I think it was a little hasty, but she's maintained this position. It took me a longer time to come around, but I love her more and more every day. It's amazing the faith she had in me.

Reason 365...

The rest of our lives.

Repeat too but it's true. I love my wife because I know I'll have the rest of my life to love her. And I wouldn't want to live it with anyone else.

Reason 266...

When you tell me I'm beautiful.

She is beautiful. In every single way.

Reason 221, 277, 248, 275, 257, 342

Reason 221...

You always make me feel you are at my side no matter what.

That's because I am. Concerning nearly everything, I am on my wife's side. Maybe baby names might be one instance where I'm not. But that's not the point. As her husband, it's my duty to have my wife's hand in everything she does, to love her beyond myself. Because she does the same for me.

Reason 277...

The love you've always shown me.

This is another one of those "filler" reasons. But it makes me think of the reason above this one. It's important as husband and wife to always let the other person feel and know that you are in love with them. There should never be doubt. I hope my wife knows that I always love her, even if we're not side by side. That's why I love her, because I always have the feeling of her love with me.

Reason 248...

Your love of math.

I'm not entirely certain why my wife loves my love of math. Maybe because she thinks it makes me smart. Or maybe she likes nerdy guys. Who knows. I'm glad my wife loves nerdy guys though, cause I'm basically a nerd. Not incapable of being a regular human nerd, but a nerd nonetheless. I love that my wife is, by all accounts, a nerd too.

Reason 275...

How you've given up things selflessly for our family.

Once my wife and her daughter moved in with me a stopped doing and living like I used to pretty abruptly. I've seldom looked back, but I will admit I miss the freedom I once had. I used to take my motorcycle to the race track almost monthly before she moved in. Did a lot of tinkering on motorcycles too. That all nearly stopped. However, I'd rather be familying with her than anything else. I love that she made me realize what the important things in life are. I knew about them, but never had a chance to act on them. She gave me a family of my own.

Reason 257...

You are my inspiration.

Ditto. My wife and family are the reason why I do what I do. They truly inspire me to be a good person. I love that my wife is special enough to be my inspiration.

Reason 342...

How you are ticklish.

Free pass on this one. This nearly an exact duplicate. Tickle me this!

Thursday, October 1, 2015

Reason 69, 268, 222, 241, 344, 300

Reason 69...

The fact that you are so ticklish.

I can't even stay still when a doctor is doing that stomach pushing thing. I am ticklish to the extreme. Can't help it. I love that my wife is also ticklish and that we made a little tiny man that's so damn ticklish too!

Reason 268...

Your excellent people skills.

Although I don't particularly like socializing, I can actually do it. I pride myself on my ability to be able to talk to almost anyone about anything because I have an interest in learning at least a little about everything. I'll tell you what though, for as shy as my wife is, she keeps me grounded. She knows when I'm being a dick and lets me know. Without her, I probably wouldn't have any friends!

Reason 222...

You are my one true love.

I wouldn't want any other woman in my life as my wife. I am the luckiest mad alive. We tell our daughter, "we're not money rich, but we're love rich." She gets it too. My wife is why we're love rich.

Reason 241...

You've taught me the true meaning of love.

I won't expound too much on this. My wife grew up in a bad situation and was surrounded by dysfunction. I know she knew love was in her heart. I am so thankful that I am the one who got to bring it out in her.

Reason 344...

How you start singing out of nowhere.

We've covered this one. I love singing. I think it brings happiness wherever it is. It can make a gloomy situation light and a fun situation even better. I sing to my wife, my daughter who sings with me and my son. I love that my wife doesn't think I'm a weird-ass for loving singing so much. After all, I'm only trying to impress her!

Reason 300...

You know my likes.

I certainly do. And I try my best not to infringe on them. My wife likes her TV shows, her sappy movies, beading, gardening. The things she likes make her who she is. And I love who she is.

Reason 113, 239, 273, 196, 249, 82

Reason 113...

For picking me over anyone else.

This was an easy decision for me once I re-met my wife. She may not understand it, but she is literally the perfect woman for me. My dad tells me often that I better be good to my wife or else I'm screwed. Cause no one else would put up with me. I think it's basically true. I love that my wife took a chance on me. Without her faith in "us" none of what we have no could have been possible.

Reason 239...

You make me feel safe.

Yes, we've seen this before. Again, it's my job. I wouldn't want to do it for anyone else. Here's to many more years! I love you.

Reason 273...

The amazing new experiences I've shared with you.

In the six years we've been dating, through the long distance and the other hardships, we've managed to do quite a lot. Looking back, I honestly can say I wouldn't have wanted to share it with anyone else. I can wait for the future as long as my wife is right there beside me. I love that my wife opened herself up to new things. Driving a car, hiking a trail...being in nature in general. Hell, she's a gardener now! Her transformation is amazing.

Reason 196...

I love when we try something new.

I promise, this is completely random. I love this too. Most of the new stuff we do comes from my wife. We recently realized that we like easy/intermediate hiking with the kids. She recently found some amazing trails very close to our home and our first trip was so great that our 8 year old exercise-averse daughter didn't complain the whole 3 mile hike. It was amazing. And the trails were beautiful. Just when I think I know what my wife is going to do, she surprises me. I love her for being spontaneous sometimes and keeping me guessing.

Reason 249...

You are very supportive.

As I said a few reasons back, it's my job. I will say this though, I will do anything to raise my wife up and support her. She needs my support and I need hers. This two way street of a marriage wouldn't be possible without both of our support. And I love her for the support she gives me.

Reason 82...

Because you are simply irresistible.

Good song. I'm hardly irresistible. I love that my wife is so attracted to me. It makes my life a whole lot easier. I love my wife for being in love with me not only emotionally, but physically.

Reason 61, 105, 293, 50, 83, 49

Reason 61...

Even though you don't agree with church, you go for me.

I'm not going to expound on my thoughts about Church or organized religion. It's not necessary to the point here. I support my wife and children. I know that going to church is absolutely vital to a good, moral upbringing in Jesus. We don't always go, but we know it's important so we try. Our daughter is enrolled in Maronite Catholic Sunday school and she usually makes it to every class. It wouldn't be fair to my family for me to hold them back because I have reservations. What I do, I do for them. I love my wife for having a stronger sense of religion than I do. She knows what's important. And I look up to her for that.

Reason 105...

For remembering our anniversary!

Hey now, I'm not a sitcom husband/dad. Of course I remember our anniversary. It was the greatest day in our relationship and it was the first time I was able to call my girlfriend...my wife. It doesn't get better than that. She's my best friend, my partner and my most important ally.

Reason 293...

You think like Larry David.

This one is good. I'm actually watching old episodes of Curb Your Enthusiasm while writing these, believe it or not. I love my wife for actually accepting that sometimes I'm a complete ass like LD. I mean, even Cheryl left Larry!

Reason 50...

How comfortable you make me feel.

Love can't generally happen when one of the people don't feel at home. I want my wife to know that she is safe, taken care of and can express herself to me when she needs to. I love that she's comfortable with me, otherwise I'd be floating lonely in the world.

Reason 83...

How easy you are to talk to.

This one is bundled in with the comfortable reason. So ditto to that one. If my wife can't communicate important things with me, then I've failed. I'm so happy that she knows she can talk to me about anything that's on her mind that's important to her. I'll always, at all times, be there for her.

Reason 49...

How I can tell you anything and everything.

I swear, I am not picking these in any order. Ditto above. She does tell me everything! And I tell her everything too. I love that my wife listens to me too.
