Reason 81...

Your good morning calls. 

I usually call my wife around 0830 to 0930 every morning from work. Just to check in, make sure the girl got to school alright and to see how she and my son are doing. I usually also sneak in some "instructions" for the day. Sometimes I think she dreads the call, but apparently she doesn't. at least not all the time. I love calling my wife to see how she's doing. I miss her each day I go to work. And I miss my kids too. That's why I call so much really.

Reason 108...

Your kind soul. 

I once got mad at my wife for giving away my delicious leftovers to a homeless person. I felt like an ass afterwards. I'm not always the nicest, but I do try to be a good person. We teach our kids that everyone is born different, some people are less fortunate than us, some people are more fortunate, some people look different, some people have trouble learning. I don't know if my wife is talking about this specifically, but those are the things that come to mind. And I'm generally nice to animals I guess. I love that my wife gave that homeless guy my food. She's far kinder than I could hope for.

You love me for me. 

I'm starting to see a pattern in these reasons. My wife loves me for the love that I give her. Well, I'll be doing that for the rest of my life. So I hope that every day she wakes up (probably next to a kid) she knows that I love her and will forever.

The way I can't picture our life without you. 

Almost 6 years ago I re-met my wife and everything changed. I was introduced to her daughter who also changed my life too. At this point I can't, like my wife, imagine my life without them. I don't even want to think about my life without them. I love my wife for making those thoughts, of my life years beyond, only good.

The way you talk to me. 

I have to admit that I'm very very far from perfect. Sometimes I think often of the way I've talked to my wife the day before and think of what an asshole I was. And I try each and every day to respect her, love her and show her my appreciation more. I don't always do it, but I try. I think that's why she loves the way I talk to her. Perhaps she knows I try.
